Robert De Niro plays a lonely man working as a taxi driver. And one day, he just goes nuts.

When watching this movie, De Niro's character reminded me of Lee Harvey Oswald and how he was a loner and wanted to be something.

*Lee Harvey Oswald wanted to work for the CIA. Oswald killed Kennedy.

*De Niro wanted to work for the secret service. He tried to shoot the president.

There's a similarity here.

If you ever watched this film, were you reminded of the same thing?
