Great article. As a liberal and a progressive who voted for RFK in the '68 California primary, I am no longer enthused by most of the coverage on MSNBC and CNN. They seem to have become a corporate Democrat (ala Hillary Clinton and Obama) propaganda outlet, the other side of the Fox News coin. Another media figure that I am also less enthused with is Bill Maher, who seems to fall into the same neo-liberal group think, that doesn't discuss "conspiracy theories". They are only good for Trump Bashing, but by doing so they are as guilty as he is of ignoring issues that mean anything to people with progressive beliefs. Having voted for Obama twice I felt that he was just another actor in the Dem vs. Repubs charade. A giant hoax on the electorate designed to divide the country so that those in power were free to do as they wished. Trump, Hillary, Obama, Bush, Kerry, Gore, all birds of a feather, like pro wrestlers who work for the same boss but fight each other in the ring. It's just show business.
It's not surprising that the anniversary of RFK's assassination came and went with just a few minutes of coverage in the media, like they were talking about Alexander Hamilton, or some other political figure from antiquity. One thing I noticed was some of the documentary pieces on the RFK assasination included prison interviews with Sirhan Sirhan looking fat and happy and apologizing for his part in the assassination. So does he believe he did it, despite the evidence to the contrary, or is he just another actor in the great fiction we are being fed? It's quite an accomplishment for the powers that be to keep the waters muddy until everyone who witnessed these events are long dead.
