WHY NOT LEGALIZE & TAX RECREATIONAL DRUGS

Postby Barney » Wed Nov 24, 2010 5:04 pm

THE NATONWIDE DRUG ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM IS A COLOSSAL JOKE FORUM MEMBERS. IT WAS AND HAS BEEN A
HUGE FAILURE, HUGE EXPENSE, AND WASTE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT RESOURCES AND TIME, AND HAS GOTTEN US
MORE, NOT LESS DRUGS AND DOPEHEADS IN OUR SOCIETY.

A GOOD ANALAGY IS THE ERA OF PROHIBITION WHICH ENDED WITH THE ELECTION OF FDR. THE BOOTLEGGERS
INCLUDING JFK'S FATHER, JOSEPH KENNEDY SR., BECAME NEAR BILLIONAIRES FROM THE IMPORTATION AND ILLEGAL
SALE OF BONDED AND BOOTLEGGER ' BATHTUB' BOOZES OF ALL VARIETIES. THE MAFIA AND OTHER BOOTLEGGERS
BASICALLY ABANDONED THE BUSINESS ONCE IT WAS LEGALIZED AS UNPROFITABLE AND NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE, MOVING MOST OF THEIR ASSETS INTO RACETRACKS, CASINOS, PROSTITUTION RINGS, GAMBLING, DRUG AND GUN
RUNNING TO SE ASIA, SOUTH AMERICA AND MEXICO.

LEGALIZE THE LESS DANGEROUS DRUGS, GET A DOCTORS PRESCRIPTION, AND BUY THE SAME COKE AND MARIJUANA
FOR A SMALL PRICE, WITH A LIMITED NUMBER OF REFILLS PER MONTH, TAX IT, AND LET THE POLICE AND US MARSHALS START WORK ON THE REAL CRIMINAL ELEMENTS IN OUR SOCIETY. SO SAY YOU WHAT ????????
BARNEY; BY THE WAY HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ONE AND ALL HERE. :) :) :) :)

I agree entirely, Barney. Take the illegal trade away and you can control the problem much more easily. They decriminalised drugs in Portugal in 2001 and drug use and accompanying problems declined (See this article. http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1893946,00.html

If you take the profits out of the drug business, the pushers will no longer have any reason to exist.

(Disclaimer- Only drugs I use are alcohol and coffee!!! :D )

WHY NOT LEGALIZE & TAX RECREATIONAL DRUGS

Dear JFK Murder Solved Members and Readers:

11.24.2010 - Mr. Robert Barnett, an Excellent Contributing Member of the JFK Murder Solved Forum

Talk about counting your chickens before they are hatched, Chicago and other cities in Illinois have
already calculated their tax revenues, and Hypothetically Spent the moneys on Project Constructs.

In the 1980's President Reagan Formally began The War on Drugs. How's that working ?

10.27.2019 we now have The Wars on Fentanyl, Heroin, Opioids, and Vaping and Vaping Devices.
How's that working ?

Will more Legalization of Marijuana Help or Hinder The Current State of Affairs for all of The Drug
Wars ?

In Illinois we will have first hand knowledge without speculation very soon !

As always, I strongly recommend that you first read, research, and study material completely yourself
about a Subject Matter, and then formulate your own Opinions and Theories.

Any additional analyses, interviews, investigations, readings, research, studies, thoughts, or writings
on any aspect of this Subject Matter ?

Bear in mind that we are trying to attract and educate a Whole New Generation of JFK Researchers
who may not be as well versed as you.

Comments ?

Respectfully,
BB.
